Pieter Verbeek @PVDarts180
Corey Cadby pulled out for the World Series of Darts Finals after breaking his left arm during a car incident (hes right-handed).
He played at the Australian Masters last weekend and even hit a stunning 164 finish.
I think hes still struggling to get a VISA to enter the UK.
Re: RE: Re: Visa issues Cadby
It’s via his qualification method so as qualified via Pro Tour OOM it’s the next non qualified player down that OOM.Eastbourne wrote:Is this definitely correct? Re: Visa issues Cadby
It seems as if there is some progress about the visa issues.
Cadbys facebook says something about "Excited to be back on the English soil"

Re: Visa issues Cadby
In the book "Fear and Loathing on the Oche " Cadby talks about being in prison and the road he went down with his brothers and how meeting his girlfriend now wife helped him turn his life around....
I am all in favour of him being given a chance..he is one of the best talents I've ever seen and he openly admits how his life was but everybody deserves a second chance in life...

Re: Visa issues Cadby
Or a third. Or is it 4th......?
Re: Visa issues Cadby
If he’s got a visa why did he pull out of the World Championship ?
Re: Visa issues Cadby
Ouch!
Re: Visa issues Cadby
Timing?
Looking at the calendar, it's Worlds, nothing, Q school, nothing, lots of stuff.
He might have felt it'd be better to skip the worlds, enjoy Christmas with his wife, then come over when the 2019 season really begins in earnest.
Re: Visa issues Cathete are some Aussue speedway riders dby
There are some Aussie speedway riders who had to sit out all of 2018 in England who have now got visas for 2019 and signed deals....so things may be moving ?
Re: Visa issues Cadby
I don't think he's anything special at all.Another shout n scream merchant who tries intimidating his opponent.
Re: Visa issues Cadby
Over £54,000 in the period since getting his tour card in January, which he got on day 1 , to the UK Open would suggest otherwise....I think he's a fantastic player and potentially a phenomenal player
Re: Visa issues Cadby
Just my opinion and may well be proved wrong. Don't get knickers in a twist
Re: Visa issues Cadby
Well I agree with you, from the games I've seen him play you description is perfect.
