Yes bud - currently - Wont be popular - But I think the best of all time is Mr John Lowe - Always felt Taylor and Bristow were a bit overrated - Same with Van Gerwin -

Durrant played very well this week, however currently he is nowhere near the Top 10 in the world.

Don't wish to torpedo your thread but would suggest you copy and paste 1-10 from the PDC OOM thread and then you have your answer. The only debatable point perhaps is the order of those 10.

No bud - I just dont think the current players are all they are cracked up to be - MVG would struggle in other eras - I think the late 90s and 80s had stronger fields - Mr Taylor would have not won as many titles in a unified field - The PDC had no depth until RVB joined - Bristow was a very good player - But won with his head more than his hand - Lowe always won the right way and against quality opponents -

If I were you, I wouldn't class Dave Chisnall as a top 10 player though.

When you think about the top 10 players you have to think...Bristow who helped create Taylor who won 16 world championships that will probably never be matched and in turn, A lot of the current players aspired to beat Taylor as he was the man to beat so looking at it that way you would have to say the greatest player of all time was Bristow

Alex Ferguson helped create Cristiano Ronaldo, does that make Alex Ferguson the greatest player of all time??

Jesus, stop your lame fishing already, Rob - Son -
A sad excuse for a troll and an enormous waste of space and oxygen, you are.

Any BDO player in a current world top 10 is an absurdly over-the-top joke already, but three, ffs....

Surely Bunting has to be in the Top 3 of everyone's lists ?

;)

Wouldn't Taylor still be one of the top 10 players in the world regardless if he's playing competitively or not

It turned out that, when you believe that, you first shrink to about 3 foot height and then flee the forum forever.
Too dangerous, that's why some attempt the same with Durrant and hope for a different outcome.

Surely after his big averages this weekend Ross Montgomery must be in the top 5.

ha ha, I forgot about Rout. That was a major flounce he did. Not quite IFM gold standard flounce but not far off.
Didn't have them down as such delicate flowers those two. Mental unstable yes, but not quite so delicate.
