Probably the only thing the PDC can do to make the BDO look better is to have more televised matches with some qualifiers who don't belong near a stage battling it out for 5 sets. And I certainly don't want to watch more of such shit on TV, at least not as long as we've got january for bloody amateurs.
Old Bazza throwing a bone to the women, they will have to play against men though and that's how it should be. As long a decent women like Sherlock, Ashton, Anastasia and Winstanley get through it should be a bit of fun. Heaven help us if the dross like Jacklin, Zilcstra, Griffiths and Hedman qualify.

PDC wont be stupid they will have touted some of the ladies, guarantee Lisa and Rachel Brooks at the very least will be taking part, outside of the UK its anyones guess.
Or this could be the PDC doing the bare minimum for Sport England recognition. Offering a path for Ladies, Youths and Amateurs now means they can push for being the official governing body.

Anyways, nowadays you're a toxic and whatnot sexist when you dare to point out any sort differences between the genders, but gender suddenly matters in sports (or anywhere else) where the ladies would not have the slightest chance against men - even in sports where biology should matter way less like e.g darts or (slightly different though) chess.
