There are two comps though so 52 quid before the pairs and do they still have triples???
I can imagine if you have a load stuffed into a caravan trying to do on the cheap then people begrudge paying entry fees as much as their share of the digs if they enter all comps.
I haven't been for a few years so only speculating

If you want higher payouts then you should be prepared to pay higher entry fees, PDC were charging £100 for the chance of winning £6k. Anone who backs their own ability would happily pay the money.

Totally agree nikkiboy but with these weekends away there are a lot just on a beano and I think that is where the majority of the complaining will come from.

They tried Coventry once and numbers were poor, or something.
Have tried Ricoh, Southport pontins cesspit, Stockport Edgeley park , Hull got barely 150 men 40/50 ladies ! Current entries 378 men 97 ladies and normally get a last minute rush .
In the days of playing at other venues there was no Dev tour or challenge tour , so the entries very disappointing .
So if that's the entry figures then it's definitely not to much

A group of people from another forum went to the Welsh and I think only one of them bothered to enter the main event, they just did their own thing. You dont have to go to one of these weekends and play all the events, if you think the entry fee for one event is too much simply dont play in that particular one.

Really sorry for misinformation posted on here by me , I said the Wolves double header was £20 each for 2 x B cats , I have been informed that the BDO Winmau Wolverhampton open is £25 each to enter .
No doubt this is ok though as it’s not England .

Does anyone actually have an issue with paying £20-£30 to enter a darts tourney with a decent prize structure?

Seemingly people who enter knowing they won't win, but may get the chance to play a top player.
