Ladies didn’t play in the tent !! Correction they did in the Pentathlon .......but Fallon didn’t play in that , in fact Fallon didn’t throw one competitive dart in the tent all weekend .

Not again. Must be one of the most unknowledgeable posters on the forum. ;-)

[quote="trotter"]From the photos it looks pretty packed ..lots of darts shirts though..shows floor events can attract a lot of people through players and guests...trouble is getting casual fans to pay to watch a few of them...I don't know what the answer is though..[/wquote]

Always get a reasonable crowd at Selsey , you do get quite a good number of non dart players attending though who are staying on site , next weekends 6 nations will be interesting to see how many attend as there will be only 48 players there.
Welsh open is normally the best crowd of the uk opens then I would say England then Scotland . Best by a way is the Dutch open .

Jacky and Snoopy.
You have to admire Jackys dedication - He and Oche deserve better from the BDO - Both are loyal servants to the great game -

Will tune in at 4. But for how long: Germany are playing and then later on Brazil!

Some saying it is a vanity project. It does give more TV experience for the bdo players (viewing figures not that important to the player, it's playing with a camera on them that counts).

But what other benefit really?

Well yes, the whole thing is shambolic, pathetic and a disgrace but please remember, they are amateurs and don't get paid. Although for this shite that they are turning out they should be fined.

Ross getting a 99.33 average without hitting a 180. Quite impressive.

Yes it should have started at 4 but live tennis before finished early.

Even more galling is that Freesports put on a recorded show for about 20 mins when we could have been watching live darts... Why on earth did the matches start before the tv was live anyway??
