Anyone got TVPlayer app stream working. Can get in app okay and registered as I had already done so for WDT, but just keeps saying stream failed and a black screen.

Why pay such a rubbish TV station to screen, you wouldn’t get this with PDC and Sky.

If they want to screen it use Facebook or YouTube at least those both work and I believe don’t charge you to be on them.

They are only amateurs and don't get paid.

It must only be vanity to be seen to be on TV to not just stream on Facebook or YouTube. If you're on a "proper" channel then fair enough, but if not, does it make a difference?

Stream on FB, people share the link and perhaps their friends may click on through curiosity. No-one is stopping if they flick past on FreeSport.

As I have posted about Freesports before.
That only applies if your Freeview transmitter broadcasts it mine doesn’t, hence looking for a stream.
Even if you are lucky enough to have it you need an HD decoder in your box or TV.

Then as I said in the Lakeside thread you must be on a low Freeview channel to get an audience, hence all over for BDO if they lose C4 and can’t get C5. Think Freesports is 90 something. My dad who is prefect audience for this, retired will watch free sport he can on TV never goes into the dark reaches of the Freeview EPG where Freesports exist. They are just too minor.
So if I don’t tell him it’s on it does know what’s on there.

Just in from work and only just started watching, but picture quality ain't bad and the place looks pretty busy.

There's nothing wrong with Freesports as a channel..they are certainly no Frontrunner..they do have some decent stuff on there ,usually world feeds of events so the quality can be high..but they are dependent on the TV production they are given..I haven't seen this darts yet so no idea what it's like...

From the photos it looks pretty packed ..lots of darts shirts though..shows floor events can attract a lot of people through players and guests...trouble is getting casual fans to pay to watch a few of them...I don't know what the answer is though..

The answer is simple, give it up as a bad job and leave TV to the PDC. There is still a market for pub darts for chavs and scrubs played in tents, they should stick to that.
