“That’s the Gerwyn Price we know and love.”
Not sure about that Pykey. Listen to the crowd...

Gerwyn gotta go.
Highest ranked player remaining in the bottom quarter is Mervyn King!
Fancy a Kyle Anderson v Toni Alcinas quarter final.

Fair play to the one person who predicted a 3-2 win for Aspinall in the prection comp. What a great comeback!
Re: Re: 2019 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-13th December 2018- 1st January 2019
Fancy Steve West to come through that bottom quarter to reach the semis now.
Re: Re: 2019 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-13th December 2018- 1st January 2019
Price raising his glass to the crowd "thanking" them for putting him off... no sense of irony at all!
Re: Re: 2019 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-13th December 2018- 1st January 2019
Disappointed with Klaasen, in the first few legs he looked the player he was a few years ago but then hit very little after, can’t afford another year like the one he’s just had.
Not generally a fan of fans getting on players backs but well deserved in the case of Price but credit to Aspinall another gritty performance to go with the one that Petersen produced earlier.

Only saw the last set of that match..my wife who knows nothing about darts said that Aspinall should be thanking the crowd at the end....and so he should...I don't think I've ever seen a more partisan crowd on my life..

I can't help wondering if Price is in danger of "doing a Paul Nicholson", in that he likes to play himself up as the bad guy, but struggles to actually cope once he's established that particular act. Still, if you're going to act like a dickhead on the stage, you kind of deserve all you get.
