After the first game, that's exactly what was needed.
Superb entertainment, have to feel sorry for the young lad, he had his chances.

Simply extraordigary performance from Ando. :DDDD:

Chris Dobey was brilliant in that match and threw everything at Gary. That 7th set was incredible.

Cam someone explain this too me.

Why did the PDC have an afternoon free before xmas? They could have finished all last 32 games before xmas then last 16 games today and tomorrow. Just 2 matches each session.
Thinking of one.

Magnificent game of darts there, a proper game with no needle and no gamesmanship, just two superb dartists getting up there throwing everything at each other, great finishing, 29 x 180s and the most respectful of crowds.

Well done to Gary, what a player under pressure.

But my word Chris Dobey, 15 x 180s and some excellent finishing, had 50 for the match when Gary nailed the D6 last dart in hand, that was the turning point. For such a young man, he's so composed, seems a lovely bloke and very philosophical about his game, on the way up for sure bless him. Great stuff Chris.

What a great match that was. At least Dobey won't have to regret any missed match darts. He pushed Gando so much there - long time since I haven't been able to take my eyes off a game

2 best of 7 matches may not produce a long session. Sometimes a round finishes before Xmas; sometimes it doesn't. Depends how the days fall.

Plus they would have needed more than 1 session to play the 4 third round games today.

I would just make last 16 best of 9 sets instead.

It just makes the comp feel unbalanced.

Aidey winning that set makes this match a tad more interesting.

If he could break MVG in this fourth set, it would become very interesting.

After dross for the first 90 minutes tonight the last 2 games were superb. Lewis played well for 95% of that but the little mistakes cant happen v MVG.

Chris Dobey was superb against Ando, hoping he keeps moving up the rankings.
Thinking of one.
