Don’t dislike Micheal smith but him vs mvg in the final doesn’t really interest me at all
Firstly, Gary is going to beat Michael tomorrow, and I would much prefer him playing Aspinall to Bullyboy.

And, let's just say that MVG does produces an upset and gets through to the final, do you honestly think that Nathan would have a better chance of creating an upset than Michael.

Any luck?
Always say Ando will lose. Reverse psychology as am a big fan and a small wager means if he does lose I get a bit of dosh. If he wins I’m still pleased.
Ok, thanks.

I'm a bit on the fence with Anderson. Yes, he's a stroppy get these days, but he appeared to develop that at about the same time as he became a world champion. Personally, as annoying as he may be sometimes, I'd rather see him winning games with good darts and a scowl, as opposed to the Gary of old, who used to giggle away whilst getting his backside handed to him.

Hopefully Joyce can at least get a set from MvG tonight as he also comes across as a great guy in interviews and is very honest about his game unlike many players.

Here’s hoping that MvG gives Gando an absolute pasting in their semi final tomorrow night.

It's worth remembering that Luke defeated two world champs in getting as far as he did. The reigning world champ Rob Cross and the reigning world youth champ Van Den Bergh.

Incidentally he also beat Steve Bunting on the way

Agree, was thinking the same thing today, remembering how he used to laugh as he lost. He doesn't seem to like losing so much now, and doesn't even like not playing well. When he's PO'd and throwing 180 after 180 its a great watch.

My only last hope for this Worlds which I think has been one of the best I've seen is that MVG gives Anderson a right mauling...that would complete what has been a really good Championships ..

Sorry

Gando has been doinh my head in with his attitude in interviews and towards fellow players the last couple of years. Think he deserves to be taught a lesson this year as MvG is a much better ambassador for darts in how he conducts himself in interviews.
MVG often comes across pretty arrogant in interviews.
Anderson is crap at interviews I agree (as was Taylor) and his one interview this week was shocking in terms of attitude.
Success breeds distain sometimes, as does longevity.

No problem with him being angry on stage if that’s what helps him play. But their is zero excuse for his attitude or disrespect he shows fellow pros in interviews or the damn right rude and bullying behaviour he displays towards those interviewing him. His what have you done with your life comment was one of the most disrespectful, big headed and damn right idiotic comments I can remember a darts player saying to an interviewee. Imagine the rage ther would be on here if a diffrent player had said that but somehow it’s fine as it Gando.

His deserves a tanking by MvG to teach him to be more respectful.
Not sure anyone thought that one rude interview was acceptable on here.
Also don’t think a hammering from MVG will change anything but I can see a 6-2 to MVG in this one.

Well, after the early exits of many big names we end up with the three best form players in the semi's. Smith should prevail against Aspinall. Anderson was finally looking like himself yesterday, looking forward to that one!

I think the Aspinall v Smith game is going to be a lot closer than a lot of people are expecting.
This

Smith struggled in the start of the 2nd round against Meulenkamp, hasn’t really been pushed by anyone yet and is averaging between 95 and 99 for the tournament.

Aspinall has beaten Price, Anderson, Peterson and Dolan and is averaging near the same of Smith (his tournament average is down because of the 89 in the first round)

It’s going to be a game of nerves, smith goes 2-0 up and he might start to walk away but if they both get into it it’s going to be 6-5 one way or another
