Humphries had a 96 average and 50% on doubles. It wasn’t one game too many he just lost to the better player

Should be a quality night.

funny tournament in a way. 1st 2 rounds take ages. Next thing. We ate 'zooming' through the latter stages.

Got to I say I have enjoyed the expanded field. It's worked for me.

This is a great game to watch. It's also nice to see them playing like this, yet conducting themselves in a sporting manner. No screaming after a 180, no pushing or shoving or no snide whispers. Proof that you don't have to be a ballbag to be a great player.

Fantastic match. Nathan Aspinall has played much better than I expected him to. Bullyboy playing exactly as I expected him to.

104 v 101 average after 7 sets.

I was going to suggest where has Aspinall got this game from suddenly, but his floor results have been encouraging in recent months.

Wait til Lakey.......When Durrant plays Mark McGeeney.

The same McGeeney who had an average in the 70s at the grand Slam takes on durrant who lost to gilding in the Slam.

IT WILL BE A CLASSIC GODDAMNIT !!!!

Life changing for Aspinall; £100,000 in the bank, trebling his 12 months earnings previous - don't forget that he's only 1 year younger than Smith, which is a testament to the latter.

With the change in qualifying criteria change this year, Aspinall would've only just scraped in based on the 72 player field. The 96 works...

Edit: He would've missed out on countback I believe.

Had a bet for a bit of fun.
Both players to hit at least 13 180s each and finish a leg on the bull
