TBF a 88 v 87 would likely be one of the better first round games at Lakeside ;-)

Barnards action is hard to watch. De Sousa showed why people shouldn’t rely on D18 as their favorite double leaving 9 a lot.

Tabern is playing pretty decent here little dissapointed with Smith though no showing how good he can be like we saw in the WSOD events.
Why you comparing it with Lakeside? They are just amateurs arnt they?

been fairly turgid offerings this afternoon we can joke about a classic but this is an example of 2 many players in a championship to pad things out a bit filling tv time the difference in quality is as stark here in the pdc ranks with these games against last night cross game,

Mardle really is a twat.

He spent ages telling us Raymond Smith must be a good player because he won comps and that means a player is in form so he expects them to play well.

Burness has won comps, played well to win the Irish Tom Kircy trophy and suddenly Mardle is "surprised" how well a player who won comps is playing.

The guy contradicts himself and spout inane rubbish. I have the volume turned off now, between mardle, gulliver, clarke, etc its awful.
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time

In a 2018 BDO World Championship preliminary match, Chris Harris beat Ümit Uygunsözlü 3-2. He had a 75.22 average to Ümit's 76.19.

I put it to you that you are wrong.

It's been average, and none of these players are exhilarating to watch, but they've been competitive and tense at least. Saying it's been that bad is way overboard, not as if they've been averaging in the 70s. Just as last night promised to be fun, this session was never likely to be particularly memorable, but it's not been bad

Nicho was dissapointing.

Anyway next up Jamie Lewis I expect him to have another good run here this year and wouldn’t surprise me if he bangs in a 100+ average next.
It would he a pretty big surprise if he averaged over a ton as he has done nowt this year.

Played well in patches, then wavered, then upped it when it mattered most. Nobody can deny the kid's got bottle, just needs to show it on a wet afternoon in Barnsley

He won didn’t he he will destroy your hero Gurney in the next round if Lim doesn’t in the first round :WWWW:
How much do you want to bet that Darryl Gurney won't lose to Lim in the first round?

Lewis will need to play much better to beat Gurney. Not just than his game today, but better than he has most of the year.

I was referring to the 100+ average you thought he’d get...

That’s why they are afternoon matches, and not evening matches! I suppose.

If we have to tick the boxes, maybe Vassos has a sister.

He’s played fine on tv as he is a big game player. Has been shot on the floor like Dimi hence neither has qualified for many tv events.
No he hasn't played fine on TV. He's not had many games, had one great game against van den Bergh, one other good game where he lost, but the rest of the matches were average to poor. He hasn't strung more than one good game together.
