I am an English man.

Being a sporting (football) fan I have always wanted Scotland, Wales and northern Ireland to do well (and southern ireland).

amazed at times how some are so anti English. Had a Scottish mate who told me his mum was gutted he married an English girl! Also (he was a celtic fan) he told me about the pro ira, anti English chants they used to sing. Couldn't believe he always wanted England to lose.

I do wonder if the SNP have a lot of racists (ie anti english) in their ranks who 'get away with it' because they are on the left?

In his time Dennis Priestley was a great finisher under pressure. While opponents were waiting on a double he could easily take out a 100+ finish in his own, concentrated, way.
