It's a stagnant tired competition that belongs in the 70's and totally irrelevant to modern day darts. When was the last time anyone on the amateur side of darts attempted to modernise any part of their structure? It deserves to die.

It never started until 2002 so at best its stuck in the last decade

Would it have been better for this to have replaced the British Internationals then? Seems odd to have two very similar events every year.

The British Internationals are played more of the county format though with 12 aside for the Men's
