They are certainly not lacking sponsors on the stage set-up. Not much space left.

Just tuned in. 5-1 Scotland ladies leading.

John G on comms being incredibly honest.

from memory but basically said "what's the point of these dead legs. Not helping that the darts has been poor". A ton just hit and he said, " 1st one in the last 15 mins "

On hitting a double he said "only good dart of that leg"

said "important that darts is televised especially ladies but this is having a negative impact because it is pointless and so poor"

said "changes need to be made by those in charge."

Mentioned that he has been around darts for a long time but it is his opinion.

I expect Pauly to start a thread on Fanatics in the next few minutes then calling him a "m0ng". How dare he criticise the EDO.

Unless leg difference plays a part the dead legs are a waste of time. And surely players won't be motivated?

Crowd don't look great.

bye Scotland won 8-1 v r.o.i.

To be fair it was ifm that used that term for posters on here.

Wonder if John G will be 'dropped' from further work for the edo. I liked his honesty.

He said they do all this work to get it televised then show those dead legs. Hope the powers that be listen.

Television thinks the BDO has serious issues. ;)

Why are the dead legs only played out in the women's games and not the men's this year, anyway?

I hadn't realised that. Only seen one ladies match. Doesn't make sense only ladies doing it.

just seen on screen men is 1st to 13.

What is the point of this tournament? What context?

What is the point of international darts full stop?*
