Regardless of your feelings to the EDO it is a ridiculous situation the BDO are in and all points raised are perfectly valid...
I'm sure they'll announce Masters details and probably get some TV on Freesports and I'm sure Lakeside will happen at Lakeside...but what TV ..who knows about that ?

Interesting thread on real fanatics. Forget the thread title here having a pop at the Edo. There seems genuine concern about lakeside. And serious doubts that c4 are not on board and thus neither are BT (who won't go alone).

I said years ago that having BDO, WDF, WDT, IDF, IDO, EDO, BBQ, DIY, B&Q etc etc etc (yes I made some up) was crazy.

Too many orgs trying to please 1000's of players each with their own agenda was bad for players on that side of the game.

Far to confusing, far to much political bullshit, far to many tails trying to wag one dog.

They need a Bertie big bollocks, who will stand by what they believe. Make everything under one umbrella and get a team round them who have knowledge of accounts, media and sales.

Whilst the likes of (and not saying any are wrong) Paul James, Jacklins, Tommy Thompson and others all trying to pull in different directions something has to snap.

They do need to tailor their TV events to suit TV, unless the real aim to for their mates to get on telly and be seem by their other mates, hence the argument for showing dead legs and the like.

They dont care how it looks on the telly, they just want it on there for dickwaving purposes in their battle against the BDO.

Their promo for last years IoM Open featured a woman darts player hitting the 7 segment during a scoring visit, they dont give a toss
