9 after this weekend

He will be about 32nd on the rankings now
Cheers I expect him to do enough for Lakeside then
You think Hamilton and Newton are going for it?
Whether Hamilton is trying to go for it or not it looks like he will qualify.

No one would ever turn down the opportunity to play at Lakeside once they had qualified.

Well no, not when they dont qualify for any other alternative. What Hamilton would do the day after Lakeside is another matter, he is only playing the BDO/WDF in the first place tour as he booked Aussie exbos during PDC Q School thinking he wouldnt have to go to Q School, well that backfired a bit.....

Eh?

Merely pointing out people may, believe it or not, enter events to try and win some cash. Unbelievable, I know....

Why is it strange?
It's an open, he is eligible to enter and he is a darts player.

As a former top 8 player and PDC “Worlds” finalist, I expect Hamilton to win the World Professional Darts Championship without too much fuss.

If there is no £100k top prize at Lakeside in 2019 there is very little they could do but play in it and potentially move afterwards, to be honest.
