Sad isn't it. Use the forum only for the chance to win an expensive set of darts.
I will propose some different criteria for the Worlds comp. Which I will be running.

Posts in prediction threads asking about the rules or saying "thank you" count as predictions in my books!

At least 20 posts in non competition threads in the past 2 years seems reasonable enough for future.

Some of these guys have posted for years with no intention other than getting a freebie from Unicorn, who are generous to this place.

To be eligible, people should be contributing on the subject of darts, or at least abusing Ginge and JC on a regular basis.

Why not 6 months. Less than 1 post a week isn't much to ask, is it?

Correct. Freeloading feckers that bring nothing to the place.

Why the eff are people pulling up those who they feel have or haven't qualified. Ginge is running the thing, his rules so he decides.

Like kids in a playground over a free comp ffs.
Thinking of one.

I'm happy for others to look through post histories and come to a conclusion.

Just all seems a bit sad to me.

It's almost as if they want people booted on to increase their own chances.

Au contraire, I want more entries. Just not from people who post nothing but prediction posts. It's a darts discussion forum and when our sponsors generously off these prizes it shouldn't be for bin-dippers who only visit for the prizes.

Not a chance.
It has been noted for a while that some people only use this forum for the prizes, which now is attempting to be solved by introducing qualification criteria.
This will probably be changed for the next comp, however it is not unreasonable for 20 posts outside of the prediction threads to be posted before being eligible to enter.

I think it's fair to use a minimum amount of posts to participate.
Personally i don't bring much to the forum because my english is not that good. But i'm reading the forum almost every day.

For me participating in the competitions is for fun, but if you don't count my entry for this competition it is your good righht to do that.
