If you listen to the commentators then every PDC event on tv is a major!

Completely agree. Euros should be up there. Think with it never being on Sky probably doesn't help plus in the early years it wasn't on tv one year. Also having the 8 European players in at times probably detracted from the quality in the early years. As the game has spread its professionalism across Europe and the standard has raised this event is right up there with them. Unfortunately the event qualification hasn't been supported by a few of the top players over the years.

It's got the 2nd biggest prize money, it's got the biggest crowds and probably one of the biggest tv crowds, and you have to be one of the best to be in it and beat the best to win it.
It's 100% a major and in the top three.
Only geeks on a forum would say otherwise.
