The PL is the cash cow that now means the Protour is free to enter yet pays more prize money than ever.

However, it is still a meaningless, invitational exbo, with DRAWN games and will never, EVER be a major in its current format.

It's got the 2nd biggest prize money, it's got the biggest crowds and probably one of the biggest tv crowds, and you have to be one of the best to be in it and beat the best to win it.
It's 100% a major and in the top three.
