What happens if there's some money left over if such a hypothetical occurrence ever arose?

Oh! Is Paula and entrant in the event that was just bailed out by BDO members money?

9 entries. I hope they get equal prize money.

Because off his own back he has bailed out a financially unviable competition in another country using British County Members money for the sole reason that his wife and Jacklin sponsored players had booked hotels and flights. Do you think for one second that if the Jacklin party had not entered, booked flights and hotels it would still be taking place?

On a side note the skirting around this on Fanatics by Tommy Thompson and Paul James is laughable, what a pair of Jacklin lapdogs they have become. Fair play to Howard Miller, he has not sold out!

The calamities continue unabated.
Well done Des, we knew you could do it.

So this BDO money has been used to prop up a foreign event just so Paula can pick up some much needed points?
But I thought Chizzy's manager was the one up for election who had a massive conflict of interest, not Des.
I'm confused.

The BDO made an exception to bail out this one tournament that the newly elected chairmans wife is playing in. Does not look good at all.

How do you know he did it off his own back? As the guy from Spain said Sue answered the phone so give him benefit of doubt they decided with each other.

Can anyone produce proof that finance was given?

Can you imagine a BDO where every decision is made by Des and Sue playing rock paper scissors?
The carnage would be like nothing we've seen before.

Before Sunday there were 4? Des, Sue, Wayne and the guy who administers the rankings?

Wayne isn’t on any more so 3?

That’s why I kept asking who is on the board, no one came up with an answer.

Has Des not filled all the new board positions he was going to create yet?

Not that it matters for this discussion, as I don't recall a new Executive Director of Bailing Out Unfeasible Foreign Jollies being mentioned in his manifesto.

There were the two "quiet" ones, think only one of those has stepped down. John Weller and another one.

So that makes at least 3.

So if you assume that they contacted no one else and Sue and Des agreed they hold 50% of the vote which includes the chair so they could do this?
