2019 Worlds talking points

What will be the big discussions this year?

For me.....

Newton and Hamilton if they make it. How will they do at Lakeside?

And how will the two BDO ladies do in the PDC World Championship.

And from Anderson and van Gerwen who will take the big third title?

1. One of those 2 will draw the man with a wandering hand Montgomery beat him decisively and then be exuded from the rest of tournament and Ross reinstated after Ross protests that his victor has already signed up play QS school next year so cannot return as per their contract. Ross will then be ceremoniously dumped out at the next round 3-0 by a tired and emotional Hankey who proclaims it as his best win ever on the Lakeside stage and points out Ross has become the first person to lose twice in 1 year at Lakeside without winning a leg.

2. One of the 2 Ladies , Deta Hedman, makes history beating the young Chinese debutant Ho Lee Fook 3-2 in the first round and goes on to lose a narrow 2nd round game to Stephen Bunting. Deta then makes an emotional speech asking all the viewers to pray for WCDPA's quick recovery and release in time for Xmas from his recent mental Health Sectioning. The other lady loses 3-0 and blames her loss on having to play on the professional dartboards of the PDC which have smaller doubles and trebles than she is used to.

3. Barney rolls back the years to beat surprise finalist Phil Taylor in a tie break 7-6. During his losers speech Taylor thanks Barry Hearn for the surprise late Wild Card which was offered to him after his shabby treatment he received at a recent Lincolnshire County Darts Exhibition. Barney whilst holding the winners cheque promises to return next year to defend his title ,enter every event open to him and that he has his love of the game back. Barney subsequently announces his retirement at the PDC Award Dinner.

Actually going back to the thread title rather than a minor forum user trying to get some attention, the only talking point ATM is about Lakeside and who will be showing it, and paying for it.

Hamilton, being a former PDC "world" finalist and Premier League player, will surely win the World Professional Darts Championship without dropping a leg.

It should be, he blamed this forum for saying Hedman wasnt doing the qualifier when it was actually Richard North who said it on Twitter.

So, has he had a word with Richard North yet?
