So I am presuming the 4 ladies who have been bumped had qualified for this first round place a long time ago and have travelled to many arse of nowhere camps to ensure a top 8 finish ? If so that is a bit naughty. Maybe Des will come forward with a helpful monies payment to these 4 ladies to cushion their loss in the same way he has helped out the Spanish comp very recently.

Apparently the reason they are doing it is "embarrassing" according to Spud, so cant be on the orders of TV and he said the sponsor knew nothing about it despite it being on their own website....

Des is too busy promoting big holiday comps in Turkey and Spain to bother with minor events like the Winmau and the Lakeside World Pro.

TV is surely just an excuse by now. The "names" aren't drawing audiences, hence their race to the bottom to find a broadcaster.

Expect any announcement to be greeted with mass praise for doing the bare minimum.
