F: Mitchell
G: Durrant
H: Mandigers
Each to their own, many ways to go for most finishes. The purists say otherwise and in some situations it's best to take a route that at least leaves you the bull with one dart in hand rather than a treble which if you miss leaves you nothing to hit to win the leg.ssjsa wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:42 pm Not convinced Vaes going for 25 on 63 with 3 darts in hand is a good option.
Ended up okay, but Mitchell should have won that 6th leg to go 4-2 up.
On a separate but linked note, Cant remember if it was on here or on Twitter that there was a debate on the best way to go for 65 with 3 darts in hand, but for a shit player like me, the advice to go T19 first has worked. Just wondering if it is as good an option for those of better quality to me.
Strange how Robsons posts were mostly error free and now using a different account they have materialised again.thelad1985 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:48 pm steady games - i think the jet lag and schedule is hurtin the players - mabe they are trying stuff out for lakey- shaprneing there arrows - warren is a great player at the end of the day - keep a eye on him -

Always leave yourself a dart at a double, Only shot I usually ever start on the bull/25 is on 132BlueSpark wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:47 pmEach to their own, many ways to go for most finishes. I have always gone for 57 for 65 rather than the 25. Personal choice.
Absolutely. That 1hr 10 minute flight from Stansted to Schiphol is a bastard.thelad1985 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:48 pm steady games - i think the jet lag and schedule is hurtin the players - mabe they are trying stuff out for lakey- shaprneing there arrows - warren is a great player at the end of the day - keep a eye on him -

Well quite, I think that's what I alluded to in my post Dave.daveboygreen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:53 pmAlways leave yourself a dart at a double, Only shot I usually ever start on the bull/25 is on 132BlueSpark wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:47 pmEach to their own, many ways to go for most finishes. It's a monster, I don't know how they cope with it. I mean I was fine with my 12 hour flight to Vegas, I just thank god I didn't take my weeks holiday in the Netherlands.ssjsa wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:54 pmAbsolutely. 135 is one I very rarely leave and depends on the situation, If im forced to go for it then of course I will go 25/bull 1st dart but my preferred way of going 135 is 60-51-24BlueSpark wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:55 pmWell quite, I think that's what I alluded to in my post Dave.daveboygreen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:53 pmAlways leave yourself a dart at a double, Only shot I usually ever start on the bull/25 is on 132BlueSpark wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:47 pmEach to their own, many ways to go for most finishes. Obviously you go your own odd way for 135 then.
I think he meant sealag not jetlag. The ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam takes around 12 hours.BlueSpark wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:56 pmIt's a monster, I don't know how they cope with it. If you read again what I wrote...Then I wouldn't...If going to the board on 135 and my opponent was not on a finish I would go my preferred way as even if I miss it im gonna leave it handy, Obviously if my opponent is on a finish then im forced to start on the bull.
There is no such word in the English language.ChrisW wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:59 pmI think he meant sealag not jetlag.
