It’s all bantz
Of course it's all "bantz" , they're great pals

If anyone thinks Glen isn't a top 8 player in the world of darts (either code) then they need to take up watching a different sport , he's world class simple as

He's not a really big scorer, so top 8 is a big ask. The loss to Gilding at the Grand Slam of Darts shows what he'll be up against in the PDC.
But, I'm sure there's a bunch of PDC players in the top 16 who'd be happy if he stayed in the BDO.
So...Who in the PDC top 16 would be happy if Durrant stayed in the BDO?
The lower standard players, like Chisnall, Cullen and Webster, who're likely to find it tougher to hold onto their seeding.

Like asking to take out Fangio from the F1 titles list.

Is the correct answer.

It’s like saying Wade has never won a major because he never beat Taylor or MvG in any of them...
Yes because he has beat them in majors he has won just not in the final ;-)

Therefore not relevant to this thread ;-)

What are you on about you just falsely claimed he never beat them in the majors he won well he did. For example he beat Taylor in the semi when he won the masters.
wade beat both Lewis and Taylor that year he won the master, and both lewis and taylor averaged over 105 as well and wade still won.

Believe Wade beat Taylor the year he won the Premier League as well

What is it with people called Dave/David....be it David B,David Owen, Dave Green etc

Did I not say ranking majors??

Ok, geniunely forget about his Masters win but a lot of people have wrongly labelled that against him but fact is you can only beat and win what is in front of you and same goes for Duzza.

Don’t disagree with that last point.

However this list also includes The Champioship league of darts win as a major for Wade and thus he has also beaten Taylor in a final of a “major”

The analogy was to further back up what ChrisW correctly said earlier and given what many others (not me) have labelled at Wade in the past.

Now to take it further, if the Championshio League of darts is a major then no one can have an issue with the Finder Masters being one also given it’s actually on tv

Just one of them games is all it takes to get knocked out of a tournament. There are many more players in the PDC who can get hot like Gilding did and throw ton-plus average games. Durrant has a record of wavering (I'm not going to use the B word) under pressure and he's going to be under pressure a lot more in the PDC.

Look what’s happened to Gilding since. Bombed out the PCF & failed to qualify for Ally Pally

right on oche - he outscored the two pdc pl players he played 9 legs to 7 - he beat mcgeeny and veenstra this weekend - both are gurney level - didnt see mvg handle gurney at the itv money major last week - ill miss glenn is he switches - hes the best all round shooter in the game - but the bdo always has someone waiting in the wings - mitchell would be my bet - but dont forget the bdo youth movement - veenstra unchburner and mckintry - who know maybe one of them will become the next glenn or adams -

bdo lads taking over the kingdom of holland - hate to do this to you - but hated seeing the great man wolfie play this weeked - he used to be a stallion of a player - to see him play like this it breaks my heart - hope it works out for him - but think the youth movement have got him - think duzza will win it all - but dont underate andy hamilton - he master the pdc - not hes master bdo - not many do both - its one or the other - but hamilton could play anyone and hold his own - you know what i mean -

37, 30 and 32.

Can 37 really be classed as a youth shooter??

He'll get beat by worse players than Gilding over the next few years it happens he'll also beat the top boys who majority on here don't think he can compete with.

Edhouse beat MvG , Callaby/ Adrian Gray beat Taylor , it's darts simple.

Using one game against Gilding in a short format as benchmark as to how good he is thou is ridiculous , there's not 8 better darts players on the planet than Glen at the moment for sure
