Was won by a 12 year old lad, I hear.

Beat a couple of PDC players en route to victory and a nice £1k.

He is playing superleague in Notts and he told me he wants to play county for them also.If he hasn't been picked for the first game in September then I dont think it will be long after that before he is.

Out of interest, why did he move? Does he live in Notts anyway?

I think he lived between Lincoln and Newark, somewhere that way or did do. Could be wrong on that one. He is playing superleague for Ilkeston this year so may have possibly moved again

A spokesman said: “Leighton has a great attitude towards the game. This young man surely has a bright future and is one to look out for when he takes advantage of the Lincolnshire sponsorship scheme.”

It's unlike Des to be so coy when the news is positive.

More comments on the above.
What were you saying about a pushy element elsewhere, Ginge?

So someone claiming he and his dad put the other players off with various antics?

It's up y to players to complain and get it sorted. If not folk can just blame Barry hearn.
