The list of participating countries is on the WDF website - 38 for Men and 34 for women. This appears to be the best turnout for either World or Europe Cup since at least 2009. Always helps when the home nations show up...

I know Des is going

BUT

why is it any concern of Des's ?
The BDO don't send any team to WDF events and surely there are slightly more pressing matters of greater concern that need his hands on back in blighty rather than sauntering off on another paid for jolly.

Didn’t he say he wanted to have a meeting with the wdf at the earliest opportunity?

Also great time to organise more European holiday tournaments

Maybe he can discuss how the World Championship has lost its major broadcasting partner and more than likely the other one as well.

Is this just a 'vanity' project?

What's the purpose? What's the aims and goals?

Or does it actually encourage folk (especially in non UK countries ) to take up playing days? Give them a incentive to keep improving?
