But lets not deflect from the topic of the thread.
Maybe you can tell me what this progress in the bdo is. dozens of people have asked des on facebook about news of lakeside, yet des has not replied.
Yet des is busy pushing an event in which he profits from.

What he has done is wake up to the reality that there is no future for the top end of BDO darts and he is to be applauded by acting so promptly.

After 2019 QS its likely that every player who is top class will be in the PDC with a tour card. The remainder will have more opportunities since they can continue to qualify for the 2020 Lakeside as well as playing the Challenge Tour.
Of course he needs sponsors and TV for the existing BDO events but nobody can deny he has made a good start.

I’ll guess, they reduced the number of seeded women in an attempt to make it more attractive to tv. Unfortunately the tv deal has now not happened.

It'll take a lot more than reducing the seeds to make women's darts a product for TV.
