MENSUR SULJOVIC has withdrawn from the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals, and is replaced by Benito van de Pas.

World number seven Suljovic had been set to line up at the Butlins Minehead Resort on Friday to compete in the £460,000 tournament, but has pulled out for family reasons.

Under PDC Rule 3.7, Suljovic will be replaced in the draw by the next non-qualified player, Benito van de Pas, who will now take on Keegan Brown in the first round.

There will be no change to the advertised schedule of play, with Brown v Van de Pas taking place third in Friday's afternoon session on the Main Stage.

The Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals will be held from November 23-25 at the Butlin's Minehead Resort in Somerset, live on ITV4 and through the PDC's worldwide broadcast partners.

Whilst the televised coverage of the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals will focus on the Main Stage, play on Friday and Saturday on Stage Two will be available on PDCTV-HD for all subscribers worldwide.

THE 2018 Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals begins on Friday, with Michael van Gerwen bidding for a fifth title in six years - live on ITV4.

The event will take place from November 23-25 at the Butlin's Minehead Resort in Somerset, featuring the leading 64 stars from the 2018 Players Championship Order of Merit, following 22 one-day ProTour events.

The tournament offers a £460,000 prize fund, including £100,000 to the winner, as Van Gerwen begins the defence of his title against Matthew Edgar.

Top seed Ian White will face Scott Taylor in the first round, while newly-crowned Grand Slam of Darts Champion Gerwyn Price meets Krzysztof Ratajski.

Number two seed Gary Anderson will take on Alan Tabern, fourth seed Peter Wright will play Spain's Toni Alcinas and World Champion Rob Cross will face Alcinas' World Cup partner and Spanish number one Cristo Reyes.

A clash between Daryl Gurney and Robert Thornton will see two former World Grand Prix champions collide, Simon Whitlock and Kyle Anderson will meet in an all-Australian tie, while Dutch pair Jeffrey de Zwaan and Jelle Klaasen will face off.

World number seven Mensur Suljovic has withdrawn from the event, and has been replaced by the next non-qualified player from the Players Championship Order of Merit, Benito van de Pas.

Play will be split across two stages on the opening two days, before Finals Day on the Main Stage, while the weekend will also feature the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship final on Sunday evening between Dimitri Van den Bergh and Martin Schindler.

Televised coverage of the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals will focus on the Main Stage, while play on Friday and Saturday on Stage Two will be available on PDCTV-HD for all subscribers worldwide.

Butlin's Weekend Break Packages are available through www.bigweekends.com, which include accommodation and tickets for all six sessions of darts.

See post above. Board 2 on PDC.tv for all subscribers.

Many thanks and very disappointing news - that was a great feature last year, shame it’s behind a paywall this...
It only costs £50 for a year and that gives you access to every euro events and players champ plus obviously a few
Tv events where more than 1 board is used. If you really are into your darts it's a fairly affordable package. £4 a month
is hardly gonna break the bank .

I thought the big perk for which you need annual rather than monthly subscription is early ticket access for the TV events.

Well I work on the darts for a living so I can't make any of the events, but yes that's another perk.
I think you can only pay yearly anyway, was just breaking it down to v little cost of £4 month.

Little treble of Aspinall,Gilding and Dekker at 9/1. Lots of interesting match ups today could be a few "upsets"

Somehow Benito is still in this, some horrendous choice from Brown whilst miles in front on a leg. 3-2 Brown.

Im struggling to think of a worst session of darts from the pdc side quality wise I have seen than that,, I noticed mason at least once referred to a lack of big stage experience & the difference between stage & floor, hope tonight’s offerings are better
