I noticed this. Although only the opening weekend.
What are the odds on Des and co scheduling someone in on that weekend, someone who also enters EQS?

a) its only on the first 2 days of Lakeside, feasibly you could still play all 4 days if you arent scheduled to play at Lakeside until the Monday or Tuesday
b) the PDC may offer the affected players with a clash entry into the UK one.

Or they can ask the PDC if they will allow them in the other one as a special case, I doubt the clash was a malicious one.

That’s why the PL has expanded to 17 events to fund the rest of the tour. It’s the only bit that works!!

Based on this calendar and not including any pay rises or prize funds decreasing, the total available on the tour next season is £11.75m.

I think there will be rises in the Premier League, World Matchplay, GSOD and European Tour raising this by another £400-500k.

Why clash when the BDO are now happy for their players to go to QS.

At a guess,venue availability.

In any case, nobody on here knows a) if any Euro player at Lakeside actually wants to go to Q School, and b) if they do, if they will be allowed to enter the UK one instead due to the clash.

Wasnt Barney allowed to enter the "wrong" qualifier for a Euro Tour event at one point recently? If it wasnt Barney, it was another leading player.

Barney was allowed to enter the UK Euro Tour Qualifier, as the Euro Qualifier clashed with the Premier League nights.
