I wouldn't put any money on him winning Lakeside again this year. His mind will be all over the place and the 2 times he's won it he escaped some massive scares. It won't work again.

I just hope he makes his mind up and tells everyone.

Swaying one way or another is not good for him as hes going to have a ton of questions. If he really has set the ball rolling just put something out and say "I am going to Qschool after Lakeside and i will not answer anything else about this", shuts everyone up and means he can just focus on Lakeside.
