Don’t think anyone would say anything if he just came out and said “ this is my last lakeside”
He mighy get booed by our party and we're front row
Those sort of antics are not condoned at Lakeside, you must sit on your hands at all times
I was joking you numpty. Best of order whilst the players are throwing.
Unless Jeff Smith is playing..........

Was celebrating a leg or set being won. Best of order was given when both players were throwing.

Rubbish its well know that McGeeney missed that Amateur World Championship winning double due to being put off by the sound of clicking knitting needles

No thanks. I prefer to follow the advice below. ;-)

"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” It is usually accompanied by a veiled insult from the poster.

In fairness, I don't think you are anywhere near stupid, just contrary for the sake of it. ;-)
Well I was trying to determine how succesful QS actually was for finding the best talent.
Here you go Paddy.

For the purposes of this let's define success as being ranked in the top 32.

Year - No. Of Cards - Guys that made top 32.

2011 - 25 - Dave Chisnall, John Henderson
2012 - 40 - Stuart Kellett, Dean Winstanley, Jamie Lewis
2013 - 25 - Darryl Gurney
2014 - 42 - Kyle Anderson, Benito Van De Pas, Gerwyn Price, Christian Kist
2015 - 34 - Alan Norris, Steve West, James Wilson, Jonny Clayton
2016 - 30 - None
2017 - 28 - None
2018 - 33 - None
Oh dear I thought as much..........its not really working is it....... the BDO is still the best route by a country mile......
The BDO route certainly helped prepare Menzies and Hughes for a life of anonymity on the challenge tour. ;)

I wouldn't put any money on him winning Lakeside again this year. His mind will be all over the place and the 2 times he's won it he escaped some massive scares. It won't work again.

I just hope he makes his mind up and tells everyone.

Swaying one way or another is not good for him as hes going to have a ton of questions. If he really has set the ball rolling just put something out and say "I am going to Qschool after Lakeside and i will not answer anything else about this", shuts everyone up and means he can just focus on Lakeside.

I'm guessing it'll soon be time for some of the q-school wannabes to beg for money on GoFundMe.

They should pretend they're lying in some foreign hospital bed having not bothered to get travel insurance.
Works wonders on the donation front, so I'm told.
