Yes they were. Otherwise Dobromyslova would not play in Wigan ;).

Also, one of the Dutch Lakeside players wanted to play UK Q-School, but didn't had the funds for it.

Rubbish. Except for van der Meer maybe, they would all have stood a great chance. UK standard is not that much better compared to Europe.

The fact Tony was toeing the party line on comms and when he got to cover a game he spent the best part of a set praising the turkish open and the upcoming Cyprus open tells you hes been convinced to stay with the BDO.

Agreed, players like Meeuwisse and Kuivenhoven are really underrated.

His age has nothing to do with it of course.

Exactly and he probably entered long before deciding to sign up for Q-School given you could enter the Dutch Open (I think) soon after the last edition last Feb!

Hes said hes happy to go round Europe at 60 getting points for lakeside so I really dont think age has anything to do with it.

Don't know an awful lot about Kuivenhoven and van der Meer to be fair so I'll reserve judgement on them but I agree, and there were some good players who missed out on a card at the Euro Q-School too. Of course the UK Q-School is still a fair bit stronger, but that's accounted for, I don't think we'll see a particularly lopsided distribution of tour cards

This collectively has to be the best line up of players at Q school of All time. Can't think of a single other year that was this loaded. Gonna be 4 tough days.

I don't know what all the debate is about.

Glen isn't going anywhere. He clearly said 12 months ago that he's #BDO4Life
