The Euro list is a massive jobberfest
None of these would gain a tourcard through the UK qschool
Rubbish. Except for van der Meer maybe, they would all have stood a great chance. UK standard is not that much better compared to Europe.
Agreed, players like Meeuwisse and Kuivenhoven are really underrated.
Don't know an awful lot about Kuivenhoven and van der Meer to be fair so I'll reserve judgement on them but I agree, and there were some good players who missed out on a card at the Euro Q-School too. Of course the UK Q-School is still a fair bit stronger, but that's accounted for, I don't think we'll see a particularly lopsided distribution of tour cards
From memory 7 players who got cards last year are now in top 64. 3 from Euro q-school. 3 from uk q-school and 1 from feeder tours.
The worst of the Euro tour card holders still bettered 6 from the uk.
This year there may be an stronger look to the uk qualifier due to the influx of top end BDO players but should be close in competivity.
At least with darts connect it will be easy to see what sort of quality comes through

This collectively has to be the best line up of players at Q school of All time. Can't think of a single other year that was this loaded. Gonna be 4 tough days.
And there's always a few surprise qualifiers who play well in that environment or just have a good day at the office.
Which consequently means that there's always a couple of expected winners who just don't make it.

Got a feeling Waites/Williams will slip up.
Yeh I think McGeeney will struggle, Just can't see where the scoring power is with him. Also Waites might only turn up for 1 day and then drop out just to get on the challenge tour.

Placeholder for "Any luck?" post.
I see David Owen removed his last line about Waites might only go to get on the challenge tour. Don’t know why a player of Waites calibre would want to play challenge tour events unless they’re all at Barnsley given he’ll earn enough from his job and BDO events.

Eh? I haven't mentioned the challenge tour in any post in weeks. My post above was quoted badly with the reply being inserted in the middle of my original post.
Read it again, numbnuts. Stevo's reply begins "Yeh I think McGeeney"

My apologies, you can see why though
So to Steve, I guess Waites knows he’s at Lakeside next year so could play CT events and still play the BDO majors, etc or is that not allowed?
Razma got a tour card previously in the UK QS and this year on the Euro QS ...there were some good players in the Euro one...last year Ratajski dint manage to get one at Euro QS...Noppert only scraped in on the rankings table...it's not easy..
Must admit though it's a brutal field this year in the UK...compare this one to the first year when Chizzy waltzed through after Lakeside....a walk in the park compared to today.

Date when entries are open, Cost of entry & PDPA membership, Number of tour cards up for grabs, Format if different than last year, Limit on number of entries? Any other changes to last Q-School etc

And still didn’t enter
He missed out the question "will the averages be on show for everyone to see?"
