Every chance of that happening.has the computer draw puts the same group of players together on same boards. Might have change now but back when I was playing the tour it happen a lot

What’s everyone’s thoughts.... should it be an open draw or seed top 32 in O.O.M from day 2... in my opinion open draw doesn’t mean you get the best players on tour.

Then matches won.
Not anymore.

Wins first, then legs won then legs difference.

When did the rules change to that PVDarts? Has anyone got a link to the rules where it states this?

I think I’m a ideal but never going to happen World a group stage of say 4 per group could help somewhat sort out the random draw aspect and get rid of the true shite from playing each other and getting into the later rounds.
Was it Durrant, Williams, Bates and Boulton all on same board today.. (all in top 17) yes over 4 days you would be unlucky to get a top players (QS quality) early every round..

I think seeded after the first two days.Otherwise you can get players who have played consistently over 2 or 3 days but get tough draws so don't make it. A bit like today on the lower half of the draw weaker players going deep in the rounds that don't actually beat any quality players but rack up the points.

I like the open draw, 4 days should sort out the best players, if you can't win one of the 8 straight cards then make the most of the day the draw opens up.

Only 4 have less than a 60 average so if you went and drew one of them you may have stood a chance of winning a leg or two.
Thinking of one.

Can't seed from Day 2. That would reinforce the luck of day 1. Maybe Day 4 or 3.
They could mix things up to prevent playing the same player early twice.

Hehe two of the guys I know have both drawn women in the first round. Corrine should beat Ken, but Lisa v Rob is a bit of a killer for both.

What people need to do today with 11 points being guaranteed a card

Already guarenteed a card - Worsley, Wilkinson,

People on 10 (Adrian Gray) - Need 1 point
People on 9 (Bates, Boulton) - Need to get to board final
People on 8 (Duzza, Williams, Whitehead, Menzies) - Need to win their board
People on 7 (Johnson, Howsham) - Need to get to last 16
People on 6 (Sheppard, Ladley) - Need to get to last 8
People on 5 (Lisa, Wes Newton) - Need to get to tour card match

Anyone below - Need to win today

Interesting thing will be if Worsley and Wilkinson as that might push lower points into play.

Durrant has two very easy matches 1st and 2nd round. Nixon and James Smith (both averaging 40's 60's)
Dennant potentially in last 128 could be tricky.
