I’m sure but that’s a worse strike ratio than the BDO players who had a go...

Wonder how a certain G.Murphy will spin that one...

Basically it means that players who have lost a card after 2 years are on a downward spiral..they are clearly on the way down..whereas a player coming off the back of qualifying for Lakeside have had a decent year and so should be playing better and more confident than players who have just lost their card
I think you're forgetting that sometimes darts is all on the day

A lot of congratulations on Fanatics for McGeeney , Baker, Whitehead and Durrant getting cards.....any odds on how long these are forgotten and become PDC scum on there ??

Looks a much stronger list than year to me. Other than Cadby last years intake wasn’t particularly strong.
It did also include Jeffrey de Zwaan, Nathan Aspinall and Danny Noppert.
Indeed, in fact if you add Robert Owen to that list, 4 major semi-finalists came through q school last year. It’ll be interesting to see how this year’s group compares.

Are you not giving the Challenge Tour a go?

Sorry if you've already said and I've missed it.
Yes, he joked about looking forward to being thrashed by Lisa Ashton on the Challenge Tour.

Of course, he might not win enough games to get many chances to play Lisa Ashton.
:DDD: fair do’s , most of my performances would suggest that. I know i’m Far better than I showed this week but will see how the CT go’s , if I can compete and improve then I keep trying , if I get stuffed every week then I stay with local stuff.

it's shows Challenge Tour 1 to 4 on the schedule for January so I assume they'll all be on DartConnect.

Slowly but surely the tour is getting more international. 2018 had 64 english tour card holders, 2017 had 67 english profis.

Thank you very much. No non Uk players came through the UK school this year.

Also if it was purely based of tour card holders they would be able to make 12 World Cup teams then.

I also hope that all 19 of those nationalities that are represented do get teams at that event.
In all fairness, none of the prominent global players gave it a go this year, except for Portela. Harris and Jeff Smith were stupid enough to try the European one, and even failed there. None of the asian players, of whom at least asada, ilagan and malicdem would have really been in with a shout, tried this year, none of the decent australians, hardly anyone from northern america and no africans. So nobody was really expected to get one unfortunately.
