I’ll be having a go , may well get my arse handed to me for four days but been wanting to do this for ages just never had the money available or been playing as well as I am.
So funding secured, will be registering tonight and paying as soon as that’s sorted.

Re: 2019 Q-School
Kyle McKinstry has confirmed to the Irish press he is going to Q School, Had a decent year in the BDO so might be a possible for a tour card.
Also Lakeside 2018 Quarter Finalist Andy Baetens of Belgium has confirmed he is also going.
Think this year will have bumper entrants for the upper level of the BDO due to the removal of the restrictions by the BDO.

Think it was last year I watched one of his games and his scoring at the time was some of the best.phil davies wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 2:05 am McKinstry certainly has the potential to be a very good player. If he gets a card then competing at the PC events should help to further improve his already solid game.

Re: 2019 Q-School
And this is what surprised me with Eurosport going for a 3 year deal with the BDO. There are possibilities that the majority of any field after this years Lakeside will be full of players who have 1.failed in the pdc for whatever reason 2. Completely unknown players.Steveo180 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 10:54 pm Kyle McKinstry has confirmed to the Irish press he is going to Q School, Had a decent year in the BDO so might be a possible for a tour card.

It will only heighten the sense the events are 2nd tier.

Re: 2019 Q-School
So, out of all the European players at Lakeside, who will or won't go?
So far, the following have said they are going:
Glen Durrant
Mark McGeeney
Kyle McKinstry
Andy Hamilton
Only Michael Unterbuchner has said he definitely isn't going
Of the rest, my guesses are:
Jim Williams - will go
Wesley Harms - won't go
Scott Mitchell - won't go
Gary Robson - won't go
Richard Veenstra - won't go
Scott Waites - 50/50
Chris Landman - won't go
Dave Parletti - won't go
Wayne Warren - won't go
Willem Mandigers - won't go
Daniel Day - won't go
Ross Montgomery - won't go
Martin Phillips - won't go
Scott Baker - 50/50
Derk Telnekes - won't go, first game at Lakeside on Saturday
Tony O'Shea - won't go
Conan Whitehead - won't go
Dean Reynolds - will go, at least so he told me at Lakeside in January!
Jeffrey van Egdom - won't go
Mark Layton - won't go
Wouter Vaes - won't go
Wes Newton - will go
Adam Smith-Neale - won't go
Nigel Heydon - will go
Ryan Hogarth - won't go
Krzysztof Kciuk - won't go, playing Sunday at Lakeside
Brian Løkken - won't go
Oliver Ferenc - won't go
Roger Janssen - won't go
What do others think? Any others who have said they will definitely be going?
