Well he was terrible wasn't he and then was accused on forums and Facebook of throwing the match because he was off to QS..and he wasn't..he was just terrible....I assume he's a lot better now..

Kyle McKinstry has confirmed to the Irish press he is going to Q School, Had a decent year in the BDO so might be a possible for a tour card.
Also Lakeside 2018 Quarter Finalist Andy Baetens of Belgium has confirmed he is also going.
Think this year will have bumper entrants for the upper level of the BDO due to the removal of the restrictions by the BDO.

McKinstry certainly has the potential to be a very good player. If he gets a card then competing at the PC events should help to further improve his already solid game.

Think it was last year I watched one of his games and his scoring at the time was some of the best.

And this is what surprised me with Eurosport going for a 3 year deal with the BDO. There are possibilities that the majority of any field after this years Lakeside will be full of players who have 1.failed in the pdc for whatever reason 2. Completely unknown players.

It will only heighten the sense the events are 2nd tier.
