The PL becoming boring?
I don't know wether it's becoming boring for a lot of people, but I think with the amount of darts televised we have the ability to pick and choose and a lot more posters are more interested in straight knockouts(bar the grand slam) with a few unknown/lesser players chucked into the mix.
It's a league of 8, over 10 weeks in, and all that matters now is finishing in the top 4.
The public and most of the players just want this stage done.

Received a text from the pdc (can't remember getting one before) promoting the Pl in Manchester next week.

Tickets still on sale.

I doubt it is configured to 20k though.

Probably not, lets knock a quarter off it then. They get about 10k at the o2 and that can fit thousands more in.

From the ticket site about over 1/2 of the seats are not available.

Seems a hell of a lot. Might just be blocked out. They could speak to the Memo Arts Centre about borrowing their black curtain of shame.

They tend not to sell the upper tier seats for most venues.

You are missing the point. They have never text me before (they have had my number for years i reckon). Now they have.

ticket sales down on previous yrs? If so then it's not just folk on here getting bored of the PL.

Maybe they text you now because the sales strategy has changed?

There are footy clubs that would love a premier league attendance, has footballs bubble burst?

Maybe a new strategy as mentioned above. And maybe to improve things.

But this year I have also had on my fb feed adverts for Manchester for the 1st time. Just wondering if interest is dropping and the pdc seeking to counter that.

I bet you never thought this post would get a mention in the rambling blog. There again it is mostly about this place these days if it isn't Duzza, Dawson or Des.

THE order of matches for Thursday's Unibet Premier League Night 14 at The Manchester Arena has been amended.

With the battle for places in the Premier League Play-Offs next month intensifying each week, the four games in Manchester will begin as Rob Cross bids to secure his top four place against Michael Smith - who has to win to stay alive in the competition.

Peter Wright, who joins Smith in needing to win his final three games to stand any chance of making the top four, will then take on Mensur Suljovic in the night's second game.

League leader Michael van Gerwen could secure his Play-Off place when he plays Daryl Gurney in the night's third game, before a huge contest between top four hopefuls James Wade and Gerwyn Price rounds off the action.

Tickets for Thursday's Unibet Premier League at The Manchester Arena are still available and can be purchased through 0844 249 1000 or through this link.

Hospitality Packages can be purchased through Sport and Music at this link.
