THE 2019 Unibet Premier League continues with the first night of a double-header at the Rotterdam Ahoy on Thursday.

Night Eight will see Dutch legend Raymond van Barneveld battle to keep his survival hopes alive against Daryl Gurney, Michael van Gerwen will take on Peter Wright in a repeat of last year's encounter in Rotterdam and two-time World Youth Champion Dimitri Van den Bergh make his Premier League debut against James Wade.

The action will be shown live on Sky Sports, worldwide through the PDC's broadcast partners, and through PDCTV-HD for Rest of the World Subscribers.

The top four players at the end of 16 nights will face off in the Play-Offs at The O2 on May 23, while the ninth-placed player following Judgement Night in Rotterdam will face an early elimination.

What a difference a leg can make.

Have to say I really thought Price would do a number on Bullyboy tonight, and have him at 7/5 to win, but after Gezzy missing 5 darts at a double in that first leg, the dynamic of the match has changed quite dramatically.

Was amazed to see Price at 6/4 to be honest, I'm a minute behind live here but hes pulled it back now.

First bet down tonight, and as I posted I really expected Price to win that match. Michael Smith articulated in his interview that there was a draught on stage, so perhaps that explains the 5 missed doubles in the first leg from Gerwyn.

Still think Wade, Cross and Gurney all at evens are great bets, so still hope for me yet.

I think he may have missed them due to the fact he didn't hit them.

Thought Wade played really well.

As did Dimitri, but like Price, James will be rueing missed doubles at crucial times.

I dont have any issues with either the song or Mensur using it as his walk on. ;-)

Just feel that given the connotations of the connection between the song and that team from the other side of the city, it is asking for trouble letting him walk on to it in certain venues. Nearly created a riot in Aberdeen earlier this year.
