Didn't fling volunteer?
I did volunteer but need confirmation if there is going to be a sponsor for prizes or if we do a cash in/out each week or overall.

Interesting that Michael Smith articulating on the new powers of the referees to deduct legs off players over celebrating.

I will stick my neck out and say no ref will actually dare to invoke this rule in a TV game this year.

Would make some drama though.

Price jumping around the stage after winning the match 6-5 to be told 'one leg penalty 5-5'.
He turns and screams at Russ Bray 'WTF!!! Take that back baldy!
'Check 3 leg penalty to Price. 5-3, McGeeney to throw first game on!'

I notice it says referees will have the power to deduct legs in the event of "persistent over-reaction".

The definition here of "persistent" is vague enough that one of two things will happen.
Either no-one will be deducted a leg regardless of what they do (the most likely outcome), or the definition of "persistent" will vary so wildly from referee to referee, and more importantly, from player to player, that this new rule will quickly descend into farce.

You will be impressed with the reception Barney gets at the Hydro Antonello when you are there in 2 weeks time.

Not a clue. Perhaps it's the accent.

I hope Gary gets his back sorted, or his career has suddenly come to an end.

Don't think it'll be that drastic, he's had the problem for a while but it's not stopped him being the best player in the world in patches. If I were him I'd scale down on the ProTour events and skip some of the less important TV events towards the end of the season (he should really cut out the World Series events too but I wonder if contractual arrangements will keep him playing in those)

He will have the Hydro siding with him for sure given he'll be playing the Welshman.....
