Looking forward to a potentially exciting night of darts.

Hopefully both the quality of darts and forum content will be to a higher standard than yesterday.

If Wikipedia is to be trusted 15,800.

Anyway cmon Mensur!
Daryl playing really well thus far. However given how the turnarounds were yesterday, he is far from winning this match yet.

Very solid from Gurney, the top 4 is going to be a lottery at this rate.

Hopefully another 7-5 Mensur comeback win coming up.

Sadly it’s unlikely though.
Expected Gurney to beat Mensur tonight.

Also think there will be wins for Price, Wade, Cross and MVG.

I would love to see some scientific evidence on how the draught can affect their throws, it's a short distance and they throw them into the board with some power.

3-3 Wright,Price, game looks nailed on for a draw as they both keep putting themselves off when they have a chance to break

For such a good player I find Gurney exidinggly boring to watch.

Brilliant 147 out for Price that might even decide the game right their. Expect this to be a close one could be the only break. Or Price is gunna smash in a 105+ average and smash him.
Thought Price was the better player and a deserving winner tonight.

Cracking last two legs in the game, could have gone each way with that missed 62 by Wright giving Price the win.

Price throw is actually quite a soft one. Anyone playing with big flights then the draft can effect your throw making them go into the board at weird angles. Wade, Smith and Barney out of the others are the ones you would expect a draft to effect the flight of the dart the most. They use big flights and have more “floaty” throws than most.
I get your "drift" but I want Sky or ITV to do a wind tunnel thing for me to see. I use 21g darts with a lazy floaty throw with big flights and it's never affectted me when playing in a draft.

Certainly a big win keeps him within a couple of points of the playoffs. Smith could find himself a bit cut adrift if he loses tonight never understood why he was second favorite before the event. The only player in it that hasn’t won a major. Silly by the bookies.
It's got to be that potential Smith has for greatness, that the bookies priced him a 2nd fav. Or Worlds form i would think.

Of course a draft can affect the flight of a dart 21 or 25g. It has a flight on the back. You don't need a wind tunnel to prove that.

It's something I would like to see, as i said before the velocity that there going into the board would be micro-millimetres.
They do it with all sorts of balls so why not a dart.

DARYL GURNEY will face Rob Cross on his Belfast homecoming on Night Ten of the 2019 Unibet Premier League, with the fixtures for Nights Ten-16 now confirmed.

After the elimination of Raymond van Barneveld from the event on Night Eight in Rotterdam on Wednesday, the remaining eight players will now battle for places in the Play-Offs.

Following Night 16 in Leeds, the top four players will progress to play in the semi-finals and final at The O2 in London on Thursday May 23.

Night Ten in Belfast will see in-form Gurney make his return to Northern Ireland against former World Champion Rob Cross, before Van Gerwen faces Michael Smith in a repeat of the 2018 Premier League final in Liverpool.

Grand Slam of Darts Champion Gerwyn Price will be backed by a Welsh crowd against Michael Smith in Cardiff on Night 12, where the world's top two Van Gerwen and Cross will clash.

The Premier League roadshow then rolls into Birmingham on Night 13, where 2009 champion James Wade will be looking to repeat his impressive win over Van Gerwen in Exeter, before Mensur Suljovic hopes to repeat his World Matchplay semi-final win over Peter Wright in Manchester.

A replay of the memorable 2017 Premier League final between Van Gerwen and Wright will take place in Sheffield on Night 15, before the battle to win spots in the Play-Offs culminates in Leeds on Night 16.
