Sounds like they are having issues with migration which means either the person doing it has no idea what they are doing or the person they have paid to build the new website has not tested it properly and balls it up, which could be as easy as a few bits of code or a few resources need altering or as bad as a the whole new website being rebuilt from scratch.

The resource error last night will have been as a last ditch attempt they will have redirected the address to a test server which will crash if it even gets a few people trying to load it at once.

The clamour for this website and in turn info on the Worlds show that the BDO is alive and well.
