Re: British Open & Classic 2018

Stream for today's Open:
Re: British Open & Classic 2018
Fantastic performance by Laura Turner, to beat Ana and Lisa like she did well she was deserving of the title.
Think the only time we’ve seen Laura on tv was the WDT when it was on Dave - very nice straight throw and good to watch so hope she makes Lakeside!

She was throwing some cracking stuff yesterday. Can see the big guns not wanting to draw her today.DavidB wrote:Fantastic performance by Laura Turner, to beat Ana and Lisa like she did well she was deserving of the title.

Jacklin, Gulliver and Hedman all in her quarter.

See an interesting change on Facebook with the names that I know going to this today
One I know that’s gone up to it hasn’t played in bdo events for years, he’s a challenge tour guy whose at qschool each year and he has gone up with friends to play in it.
Maybe this is what des and the bdo was hoping for, by making it ok for non tour card holders to play your securing the future of the big cat a events

Updated Lakeside qualification
21 Reynolds - 186
22 Whitehead - 183
23 van Egdom - 189
24 Layton - 176
25 Vaes - 175
26 J Thompson - 167
--
27 Janssen - 166 [standby/World Master spot]
--
t28 Newton - 160
t28 A Hamilton - 160
29 Kenny - 157
30 Sparidaans - 156
31 R Edwards - 152
A last 32 for both of them tomorrow would catch Janssen (not entered) and possibly Thompson (pending results of a Cat.C in Australia tomorrow). If both make Last 32 or later and go out same round as each other, Newton will be 1 point ahead of Hamilton.
Hamilton's minimum box is 5. It was 4, but today's Last 16 knocked out the 4 and leaves him with a new minimum box of 5. Hence why if they both make the L32, Newton would be a point ahead of him.
Re: British Open & Classic 2018
Wes Newton out in the Last 256 to Tom Gregory.
Re: British Open & Classic 2018
Glen Durrant lost in L128 to Dave Ladley.

Got thrashed 4-0 by Robson with a 77 average. And that is better than what it was.ChrisW wrote:Hamilton into the last 32. Plays Robson.
