To be fair you can only go off of what you have been told and assurred, unfortunately the BDO have a history for not being 100% truthful or releasing half truths and leaving others arguing over the rest of the information.oche balboa wrote:Yes i think he has

No they dont i think they need to let people know of the current situation with regards to Lakeside and the 2019 BDO World Championship, Its going to happen as Paula Jacklin mentioned she qualified for it but whats going to happen to it

I wuld imagine that the change of sponsor or change of venue makes the contract with the players null and void therefore expect it to be at Preston Guild Hall with £100k prize fund and sponsored by the Turkey Open.oche balboa wrote:No they dont i think they need to let people know of the current situation with regards to Lakeside and the 2019 BDO World Championship, Its going to happen as Paula Jacklin mentioned she qualified for it but whats going to happen to it

Poor old Daisy Mac, BDO for life.

He's OK..he can switch anytime..he's had a year with 100k in his pocket and loads of exhibitions..he's got one near me shortly with Phil Taylor..he's done ok this year and I don't think he's been fully focused on the actual tournaments to be honest...Skewball wrote:Poor old Daisy Mac, BDO for life.
I still think he will switch..nothing to lose lose now

As was said when the news came out the announcement that there will be no repositions from people going to qschool was a sly way of making the contracts null and voidnikkiboy wrote:I wuld imagine that the change of sponsor or change of venue makes the contract with the players null and void therefore expect it to be at Preston Guild Hall with £100k prize fund and sponsored by the Turkey Open.oche balboa wrote:No they dont i think they need to let people know of the current situation with regards to Lakeside and the 2019 BDO World Championship, Its going to happen as Paula Jacklin mentioned she qualified for it but whats going to happen to it
If the venue, tv coverage and/or the prize fund changes the bdo can refer to the previous announcement that the contract was meaningless

Someone on MH's gaff been onto live chat about it. Been told "there is no sign of it on BT sport scheduling". Probably doesnt mean much given its over 3 months away, mind.ChrisW wrote:I was going to suggest you try it actually.Ginge wrote:May drop BT Sport a message. Probably not a surprise about BT Sport, they were only hanging onto the coattails of a bigger broadcaster to try and get more subs etc, and the likelihood is the terrestrial broadcaster was paying the lions share anyway. Not a chance in hell they are going to share with the likes of Freesports or whoever.
