When will lakeside/or any other venue gets announced

The clock is certainly ticking on this announcement of an announcement.

Where did this announcement of an announcement originate from?

I have no idea, but there’s only 3 more hours of tomorrow where I am right now. Hence the question if I had missed something on the other thread.

Des can't announce anything as obviously Sportotal will be doing it. When they get around to organising it.

Oh they will be on it. They might be slowly realising nobody wants to pay much (or anything) for it though, which means no (or little) money for Sportotal.

Hence why it's taking so long.
Bear in mind Channel 4 will have told them months and months ago they wouldn't be renewing.

Well they have had ample time to rearrange since the cash cow ended.
They are responsible for sourcing sponsors, fan base, commercial arm etc etc according to the website guff and no one gives a toss about their product anymore. It's their fault as much as anyone else's.

And not a thing the BDO can do about it until the contract ends, it must be watertight as fek.

Surely the contract works both ways...if Sportal fail to arrange a World Championship then they should be sued for their failure......
