I still think there's a distinct, if remote possibility that it might not happen at all. Prize money without Big Bob stumping it up is a major issue.

yeah, it is a possibility, but low odds. But also is the only rationale explanation to why it is taking so long to announce, the TV/sponsorship issue must be the stumbling block. WIthout TV confirmation they just can't be 100% what the sessions timing will be etc, but, at some point they are going to have to take a gambel and just assume the sessions will be the same and if nothign else they can be streamed. Perhaps there is still some TV being dangles in front of them by Sportotal.
Its fun to guess, but at the end of the day.. its a fucking farce.....

I reckon what is going to happen is they wait and wait until they have no option but to only stream the "world pro"

This decision will be made early November, then the true panic starts to announce Lakeside as the venue and hope they can sell tickets.

Milkmen all over surrey will be on standby
BDO fanatics will echo to the sound of key words like
"loyalty"
"new era"
"family"
"progress under des"
"grass roots"
"darts for all"

They will get a crowd of more than the 8 that watched the winmau masters, but you can bet it will be one of the least attended events ever for Lakeside if not the least attended ever.

But the bdo "family" deserve it all as they are the very same people who were responsible for des, sue etc
