When will lakeside/or any other venue gets announced

Biggest question why is over 40 considered senior for Snooker FFS isn’t the current world champ over 40?

Make it over 50 at least.

With Ronnie knocking in a 147 earlier this week at 42 as well

Williams,Higgins and Rocket Ronnie all in there 40s and still at the top of the game

Mark Williams did win the seniors title a 2 or 3 years ago...he did say at the time it was a bit of a joke and then he won the normal World title again this year ...

Mind you ..when there were seniors darts events I think Taylor was talked about playing when he was still winning TV titles...age is difficult to judge

Yep 3 of the top 4 in the rankings are over 40 FFS

And 2 of the top 4 ranked darts players are almost 50!!!

I've been rather busy the last few days and haven't really been keeping up with goings on.

Can I just get confirmation that the current state of play is that a bunch of aging, semi-retired snooker players dusting off their cues for a bit of a laugh and a drink with their old mates have managed to secure themselves a TV deal, whilst the BDO "World Professional Championship" is still struggling to attract any interest whatsoever?

Because if that's the case, it's a little bit embarrassing, isn't it?

Oh and as I said, I realised this morning I hadnt seen a single Twitter or FB post about the Turkish Open and thought "are they feeling alright"?

My optimism was short lived when I actually took a proper look:



The pairs events are really really important, apparently. At least they are being slagged off in the comments.

Been to several pdc tournaments , there great but not a patch on a couple of days in potters paradise enjoying good quality darts and mixing with fellow darts fans not totally smashed and constantly standing up and sitting down claiming to love the darts ..
