If I were Eurosport I'd do a segment called "Champions corner" and have Adams, Fordham and Hankey there as three of the BDO's most recognisable faces, adds gravitas.

Now that there is a 3 year broadcasting deal The BDO are probably leaning on Potter to contribute more . This deal chnages the balance of power in their negotiations away from him.

Will it be ever known how much Eurosport have paid for this deal ?...I doubt it will be much at all so that makes it vital that the BDO now go and get the sponsorship required to stage the events and cover the prize fund...without the sponsors then the TV deal alone means very little..
But the advantages of guaranteed TV coverage means that it is far easier to attract sponsors and any marketing company worth their salt should be able to attract sponsorship now with the firm guarantee of TV coverage...so they are now working from a much better base so it's now up to the BDO and their marketing arm.

Potter is laughing, he's filling the venue and not forking out over £300k, maybe he's giving a percentage of the bar and ticket sales away now but that means for every penny he gives he takes considerably more.
