Reason it was so late to be announced last time was because Des was scrambling around trying to get a new venue signed and he ran out of time. With a full years run at it is he isnt going to go back there unless he is utterly desperate.

My county captain says it will be at Lakeside. A wise move. It is the BDOs base.

If it is at lakeside I reckon folks will be reluctant to buy afternoon tickets. surely they will wait to see if freebies are on offer again?

Welsh Classic/Open weekend good to see Suzuki has entered should tick the boxes to make her a seed for Lakeside by the end of the year. Though shows how pathetic their ranking system is that the current world champ wouldn’t have been seeded.

Anyway Nick Kenny won the money in/out event yesterday and is in very good form ATM. Should be an intresting weekend.
