With the new venues announced any risk he won’t actually be allowed to play? He can’t play WDT by the looks of it with its 18+ rule on the qualifiers

There is no reason why he couldnt play, we have been through this numerous times, even if they do get a gaming or alcohol sponsor you just ask them for an exemption for the player, just like World Snooner have done at least twice with the young Welsh lad.

I might have missed it but why can’t the u18s play the WDT qualifier in that case?

It is strange. But the rules say that any age can play at Worlds or World Trophy if they qualify via the tables. Unless a sponsor says no. So Bennett may well play at Indigo if he carries on scoring points
