De Zwaan and Dimitri are in the same half of the draw but have to be two of the favourites

I do like this group stage format; perhaps not as a group of 3 but it’s certainly underused IMO.

Wonder if Geert Nentjes might have a run after great dev tour weekend.

Still think Nebrida could cause a few surprises, unfortunately he travels all the way from the Philippines and didn’t play the weekend events.

Zong gets a win!

Looking at the last 16, I’ll predict a Ted Evetts v Ryan Meikle final.

Edit- Meikle has just gone out in the last 16 :)

I will revise my precdiction to Rydz v Evetts.

Well done Mgt for picking the two remaining players that were highest in the OOM. :p

On current form I'd favor Martin Schindler. That'd be 2 German PDC World Youth Champions in 4 years.

A very risky move actually, looking at the last couple of tournaments. ;-)

I spoke about this in the Ally Pally thread, Mathew Edgar is apparently now in-line to qualify as one of Schindler and van den Bergh will now qualify via the youth worlds instead of the Pro tour order of merit.

Thomas lovely who went out in the last 16 is on fanatics talking about the age of the 2 finalists

I really don’t know why this keeps being brought up, everyone knows it’s up to 24, even football youth teams go up to under 23 now, it’s a pointless argument

If you don't like it, don't play.
Pretty simple.
